What's the next best thing to Lithium
Hey all. I'm new and need to know a good mood stabilizer for someone that is Bipolar 1. I took Lithium for 7 years but due to lab results indicating possible kidney damage I stopped. I take Lexapro and Wellbutrin and would like to find a mood stabilizer to add to them. I am leaning toward Klonopin or Topamax. In a perfect world I could find something plus Adderall that the Doctor would go for so SWIM might recreate with the Adderall. I am pretty stable with no manic issues so I am not concerned about that.
