Health - Does Adderall Stunt Growth or have harmful effects on children?

Swim has heard this plenty of times, and wants to know how valid this is. If so, how significant is the growth loss? Swim's Friend's little brother speeds. Said friend is worried about his brother's health and wanted Swim to look it up. Swim figures some of you would know.

His brother is 14 and Swim's friend says that his bro started taking it a couple of months ago, did it about once a week, then stopped for two months. Finally decided to go back on it today, 30 mg. He doesn't take it everyday from what Swim's told. Could this cause some sort of growth supression or damage? His brother has fully hit puberty and everything. He's not fully grown yet though.

Swim also asks because it is frequently prescribed to younger children. Even some prepubescent ones. Could this effect puberty for them? And before anybody starts presuming, No Swim is not a 14 year-old trying to bullshit. So please none of that, Swim is over 18 years old and doesn't want to get banned. Swim is posting this because his friend doesn't know shit about medication or how this site works. (As full of shit as that may sound.)
