why does this happen to swim when he smokes weed

About 1 year or so ago swim had a horrible experience with salvia. it changed him therafter in a bad way. previus to this swim smoked alot of pot, mostly just for insomnia. For a couple months he could smoke weed with no recors. Swims problem is that when he smokes weed, the salvia trip comes back. not as hardcore. but its still very scarry for swim.

Most everyone ive talked to says this isnt possible. Swim disagrees. he's experianced the reaction before. I will add that swim loaded the bole half with weed when he had the first horrible salvia trip.

Please help swim figure out why this happens when he smokes weed. He much misses smoking weed. He hasnt smoked in about a year. He has had to start doing opiates to fill the void in his soul. I dont expect a solution, just an answer.
