Dihydrocodeine and Viagra

Reading the British Medical Journal (free access) it has been discovered that DHC when taken with viagra significantly prolonges the effects of the viagra.
Sorry I cannot give dosage but try the BMJ, I found it and wasn't even looking.
The author did not pretend to know why.
