Fried Brains

Pretty much a lot has been said and wrote about the risks involved in mdma abuse but swim was wondering if swiy has personally met someone who's now a dead-brained zombie 'cause of mdma abuse.
On his ride swim has met, known who was a nutter, who funny, who lovely, who a stupid fuck, and list's very long (swim's sure swiy met any kind of sort as well) but he can't say he met somebody who fried their brain due to their abuse of mdma. He knows a couple of walkin empty bodies, but they got in that state from (supposely) a nasty abuse of heavy drugs and halluncinogens: its very hard to tell "That guy's so fucked up 'cause he's been poppin too many pills for too much time now" cause who really knows what other drugs he might have been taken along with the pills.
So have swiy met some burned brain from x abuse (bein pretty sure its really from x)?

Re: Fried Brains

Swim used to be pretty brain dead after taking E pills(all good quality) every weekend for about a year. Short term memory was totally shot, would easily lose train of thought, got confused easily, occasionally would have trouble saying coherent sentences, and that kinda stuff. This all subsided after swim stopped for about 2-3 months, and swim got back to normal.

Re: Fried Brains

swims binge lasted 4 months swim had college monday to wednesday so thursday's , fridays and saturdays were just day's on the rekage taking loads of MDMA which made swims head turn to mush swim also had savage weight loss (the skin and bone effect) swim hasn't done mdma in about 6 months now and swims head seems 2 have recovered well! in swims experence people who get f*cked on mdma never realy cause any long term damage just a stage where they become "e tarded" and as soon as they giv the stuff up and give there bodies time to recover they seem to just come back to reality mind you that might just be the case with sum people not everyone......

Re: Fried Brains

Swim done countless pills (all MDMA) and is still OK.. He was with a group of hardcore cubers who went from club to after party from after party to afternoon boom then someones house then the same thing again, again and again.. Went on for days and everyone in that group was taking pill after pill...

Not saying its a good or healthy thing to do, but am sure most of those people are still OK.

There others (not that group) who are worse off..

Re: Fried Brains

I know plenty of people that either fit this category, or their current drug abuse habits will posit them in this category in the future.

Re: Fried Brains

RaverHippie, how can swiy be sure that those people got so permanently wasted only from mdma abuse? couldnt other substances be involved?
In swim experiences that kind of people tend to abuse not just one substance - being mdma in this case - but several others, like alcohol, blow, ketamine, amphetamines, hallucinogenics and so on.

yess swim is as the above was described it's been 6 months since swim rolled swim isn't against rolling but swim is sure having a break after rolling 3 days a week every week for 4 months swim began 2 feel "e tarded" savage weight loss slow reaction times and a rubbish memory to top it off! its only been in the last month swim feels perfect swim can see an improvment in all of the area's swim noticed to decrease...^^^ swim already explained this earlyer in the thread^^^^ mind you there was as people hav said a few other substances being used at the time (weed, alcohol, cocaine, Lsd, 2C-b pillz and so on....)

Re: Fried Brains

well swiy has realized that binging like that for 4 months straight brings only harm to himself and surely not fun/positive experience so it's a well learnt life-lesson, so there's absolutely no point in feelin like shit and destroyin our own body/mind, sounds fuckin obvious but its known in daily reality reason and good sense can get lost.

Re: Fried Brains

what actarus said is very true! it's easy to get lost in a world of bad habits....! swim is also glad that chapter in his life is done swim hopes people who regularly take mdma have breaks inbetween to give time for your body to recover!

Re: Fried Brains

swims mate would get 50 pills p/w sometimes more, he even ended up with his dealer... swim couldn't tell you how many pills he took per day. weekends, swim and swims friend would see him for pills and chill at his place. swimmers never $brought pills from swims mate because swimmers just would look on the floor around his house, under his bed for example.. swimmers got 11 pills in one night of heavy drinking and using (swim remembers this and will never forget this). swims mate had a 13 y/o daughter, his speech was sloppy and broken up, was highly agressive and abusive, very VERY paranoid, forgetful of days, memery LOSS, blackouts etc.. swims mate would randomly leave the house because his dealer was listening to what swims mate was saying????? O.o.. his dog died (didnt feed it), his fish didnt get fed (all died). swims mate swim believes comitted suicide. very negative post, but swims mate was messed up from birth tho, child abuse etc. pills are really bad to use extencivly, mabe the worst honestly, swims been around meth-heads, smackies, crackers etc..

should add, in aus we use "pills" god no's whats in them 9 times outa 10. its not mdma.....
