Disturbed sleep
My friend has recently quit smoking cigarettes and is using nicotine patches.
She thought that the quitting smoking was causing the sleep disturbances she now has... more than usual. She wakes 3-4 times a night and now thinks that the pineal gland could be a factor. Even though there is not a lot of information on this gland, it seems that it is responsible for regulating sleep/ wake patterns and seasonal changes. So, could her sleep be being even more distorted than usual because of the change in season? She doesn't remember having this level of distortion any other season or year, maybe her gland is calcified? Over-sensitised? On the philosophical level, her third eye is in good order... she sees a lot that others do not see, she sees her gifts increasing steadily as she grows in herself. She does have a lot on her mind though... lots of small and some massive. She doesn't wear her patches at night now, as she was having vivid dreams, which is fine, but the sleep has not improved at all. |
