Effects - Diphenhydramine effects not found when in concious thought

SWIM noticed awhile ago (back when he used to abuse Diphenhydramine HCI frequently) that diphen's effects usually did not happen until he had forgotten he had taken the diphen, such as when he realized he needed to piss, and started walking to the bathroom (example) and they never happened if he was thinking that he had taken diphenhydramine, and will be going fucking insane, has anyone else noticed this, or is SWIM just an odd fellow?

well with the delirium caused by diphenhydramine this often became the case. My raver friend would become so paranoid that he wouldn't let things like "facts" try to reason why everything was freaking him the hell out. He was just there for the ride and was just trying to make sense of the world again. Eventually he would remember but it wouldn't help things since everything was still real to him.

well, SWIM has also realized, that the effects would quickly disperse and dissapear once he told himself it was the diphen, and would only come back once diphen was out of his mind again
