Combinations - Pseudoephedrine in Codiene Syrup

So swim has had this bottle of codeine for a while now. It is called notuss Dc. It contains 10 Mg Codeine and 30 Mg Pseudoephedrine per 5 ml. Swim has taken a nice couple swigs of it (most likely a small amount in all) without measuring and had an "ok", fuzzy feeling. Swim is considering measuring a fixed amount and mixing it with some sprite to take either before science fair (Can't bare it sober but don't want to be noticably fucked) or before prom to increase socialiblity (Would it be ok if swim were to become quite intoxicated on alcohol at the afterprom 4-5 hours after sipping?).
What Swim mostly needs to know, is whether ingesting such a large amount of Pseudoephedrine with the codeine would give swim a bad experience. Swim likes the idea of a little bit of Pseudo to counter the Super-sedative effects and the constriction of pupils, but he also worries that it will make him have a bad time. Swim has about a 30mg tolerance to hydrocodone. He used a converter to calculate his estimated dose of codeine to be above 200mg. This would require swim to take 600mg Pseudoephedrine with the codeine. Is this way too much for a good buzz?

seeing how that's like half a box of sudafed.. it sounds like a bad idea.
