Purity - Cocaine turned into tar...

Hey guys, My first post here so go easy.
About a year SWIM stashed 4g's of appaulingly bad cocaine into one of those coke can stash things. It was so bad infact that SWIM and SWIM couldnt be bothered to finish it.
Anyway, a few months on SWIM has found the coke can, opened it up and each of the 4 sealed bags had started to turn yellowy brown, looked disgusted at it and sealed it up again.
About a year later on and SWIM opened it up again to find in each of the bags a black tacky tar looking substance.

Im guessing SWIM should probably just throw this away but was wondering if anyone had any idea on how it could be saved. SWIM has been looking at that cocaine purification method and thought maybe that was a good idea.

Any ideas and opinions appreciated

Snuffkins thoughts would go along the lines of-
a) If it was such bad quality it was probably highly cut.
b) Whatever it was cut with has gone bad.

does this black tar smell of anything odd?

Snuffkin also wonders if it might take the likes of Paul Daniels or god to salvage SWIYs coke.

perhaps an anhydrous-acetone wash could salvage it, as well as cleaning it up? Maybe look into some cocaine purification techniques, but either way, SWIM wouldn't recommend ingesting it because who knows what it was cut with, and what went "bad", and what the result of this mess has done to the cocaine.
It sure doesn't sound too appetizing! If SWIY is really adamant about saving it, SWIM would suggest looking into some purification techniques, or some A/B extractions or something.

SWIM is disgusted with these answers. This is 4g's of coke we're talking about people! even if it's 25% pure that's still a gram of joy. Acetone wash cant even be compared to work for that much fun. SWIM says go for it and have a good time.

SWIM has just smelt it and apparently it doesnt smell of anything particularly bad.
Nothing SWIM can put his finger on anyway but not that typical cokey smell either.

SWIM did plan on buying the stuff to do an acetone wash on new stuff so It would

SWIM does remember it being literally the worst coke they had ever had. No high, just edgey, angsty. It even made SWIM's girlfriend tired and grumpy.

swiyou should wash it, but also sincerely consider throwing it away.
4grams is a lot, but this seems beyond repair

SWIM thinks your probably right.
It is the only night to date that SWIM and his girlfriend have ever not finished it all.
SWIM will probably use it to test the acetone wash and let you know how it goes.

Don't bother salvaging it. Chances are that it was processed with kerosene (as I have heard that it has slowly replaced ether in the manufacturing process - can anyone substantiate this?) A FOF had crack processed in this manner, and it basically turned into a substance which didn't smoke, just vaporized, and what should have been honey-amber oil leftover in the pipe was replaced with a thick black foul-smelling resin that literally dripped from the flame-end of the pipe. Another FOF had some cocaine which slowly transformed into a yellowish gummy substance over time, rendering it unusable even if attempting to "rock it up" with sodium bicarbonate. This substance was also sweet and instantly gum-numbing, indicating it was probably processed with a "-caine" i.e. lidocaine or benzocaine. It got tossed, and it was an eight-ball. Chalk it up to expererience.

the vaste majority of illegal cocaine is indeed processed with kerosene or another petroleum derivative as the primary non-polar solvent used. but this does not in any way imply getting tarry cocaine / petrol smelling cocaine, as this is one of the first steps in cocaine manufacture, the rest of which being isolation / purifications. it's what follows that counts.
illegal cocaine has been processed with kerosene since the 1980's. this is most likely a cut related issue, if there was any cocaine in there to begin with
