Drug info - Advice on evaporatong CWE

Swim is new to codeine but has a basic grasp of how to do a CWE what swim would like to know is if it is possible to evaporate the water and get a semi pure form of codeine powder. Swim has tried to find some information on this but all he has found so far is that the codeine could degrade with heat, if so how much would be lost from a slow boiling evaporation.

Note: Swim is going to be using 15 tylenol 3's with 30mg codeine/500mg acetametaphen

Swim once CWE 50X 8mg Codeine/500mg Paracetamol tablets, then evaporated the liquid in the oven on medium heat over about half an hour. Swim was left with white powder in the bottom of the Pyrex dish. You loose some codeine via evaporation I think but you do yield most of it.
I only did it to see if its possible, Swim wouldn't recommend it to an opioid tolerant person as its useless, codeine is useless to junkies but if you're new to opioids then it may prove useful for smoking/sniffing.
Just make sure you CWE 99% of the waste out of it before evaporation.

The best thing would be to use a very large surdace area and avoid heat entirely. A humidifier may help.

You could also use baking soda to form codeine freebase, which would precipitate out of the water as a solid, and then filter it. This will probably be much quicker than evaporation, but not many people have tried it. If you do this, be aware that the freebase codeine will weigh less than codeine phosphate, and that putting an acid such as lemon juice to it to form another salt when it comes to dosing time may make it more effective. This method should be safer too, because any dissolved paracetamol/acetaminophen will be removed as well.

Swim has done this many times and finds that using a dehumidifier (swim's goes to about 20%) and packs of silica gel reduces the evaporation time by about half. If there is a lot of APAP in the CWE produce then the final product will be powdery, if there is very little APAP (the solution is clearer) it will be more crystalline.

Do not boil your CWE water- the codeine will be lost.

Swim was wondering if he could just smoke the codeine freebase or would too muchn of the codeine be lost this way?

Theoretically, you should be able to because codeine freebase is smoked as part of opium, but only one person on here (Samuraigecko) tried it and had an extreme allergic reaction despite being able to take it orally (and he certainly knows his shit when it comes to opium). He never specifically mentioned codeine freebase though, so I'm really unsure.

After that, SWIM would avoid trying to smoke it unless he got more info. If it was to be smoked, it would be in the usual opiate manner by not applying a direct flame to it.

Thanks Swim is definatly interested intrying to get the codeine freebase and at least try it in minute doses to see if it works with him or if it is completly poisonous but for now swim is gunna use 120mg in a regular cwe then another 120mg cwe and slow baking as described in other threads swim will try and keep posted on how the two compare.

Well swim has completed both of the methods mentioned above. Swim found that the CWE on the regular liquid with 4 T 3's (120mgcodiene/4000mg tylenol) and 100ml water went well he was left with 100ml liquid with a bit of a cloudy appearance. Swim then baked the other batch of liquid in an oven with the door open at 170degrees F it took almost an hour and a half swim was lift with a wite flakey powder that swim unfortunatly cannot weigh becuase of a lack of scales =( but it was a fair amount of powder that was easily scraped from the pyrex dish. Swim was able to take pictures but is having some technical dificulties on his end so they may be forth coming. Swim will also be smoking this powder sometime this week but swim was unable to do so today for fear of not being able to function later on the day when he has some important things to do.

You should know that if you only did a CWE as a method of extraction there will probably be a significant amount of paracetamol/acetaminophen/APAP (and maybe some binders too) still present. I have no idea what smoking it could do, but there is a chance that it could be dangerous.
