Combinations - Does Wellbutrin diminish the effects of MDMA?

SWIM has seen the previous discussion on this in this forum but no factual answer was provided. The researching of this question also provided few facts. Some say that Wellbutrin will block the effects of MDMA all together and some say that it will not. SWIM is aware of the interaction between MDMA and SSRI's. To SWIM's knowledge, Wellbutrin is classified as a stimulant and not an SSRI.
Anyway, SWIM has been taking Wellbutrin for aprox. 3 weeks and would like to 'indulge' this evening and just wants to know what expect. Much thanks.

SWIM unfortunately found the answer to this question on another (K Mart special) drug site. Welbutrin does not effect serotonin reuptake and from a 'logical' standpoint should not diminish the effects of MDMA. The only thing that SWIM found different about taking MDMA while on Welbutrin was that it took longer then usual to come on. SWIM just figured he would answer his own question now that he has experienced it for SWIhimself. SWIM was directed to Dancesafe/ask Dr. Mercury and found the FACTS concerning this matter. Swim has been taking wellbutrin for several weeks now as it was prescribed to him in order to help his apathetic personality... Anyway, swim has taken MDMA numerous times within the time frame of when he was prescribed until now... Swim will testify that wellbutrin does not diminish the effects of MDMA. However, swim noticed a delayed onset of MDMA's effects depending on the time of day the MDMA was taken. The MDMA is the independent variable here because swim takes wellbutrin at the same time every day. Also it was important to note that the MDMA was the same each and every time. Swim agrees with your deduction 100%.
