Drug info - Mdma comedown?

Do you get a comedown off mdma powder?
ive been told that you dont because its pure ecstacy but i would of thought that you did.

yes, you still get the come down and all the side effects with pill form e. you just dont have to worry about anything else going into your body. better roll in SWIM's opinion.

Yes, there still is a comedown; however, its a much more cleaner and smoother comedown than when taking pills. This is due to most pills are not just pure MDMA and therefore one is also coming down from meth, caffeine, DXM, BZP, etc.

Swim always takes pills and has never had a bad comedown. It kinda just wears off and swim feels pretty drained after. Thats about it. These are some good quality pill though. Its nothing like the dreaded coke comedown.

That is what my raver friend says as well so his definition of an mdma comedown goes like this: assuming someone takes their dose of mdma or ecstasy on a friday or saturday night at about tuesday or wednesday there will be significant depression that will be unexplained and temporary. This is colloquially known as the "suicide tuesday" effect since the severe depression people could potentially face given the rampant mdma abuse that occurs. NOTE: there is no guarantee that the suicide tuesday will happen as it has only affected my raver friend about twenty five percent of the time.

When swim was taking pills (MDMA, food colorings and binders) he used to be scared of the come down after days of use, and sometimes takes more to avoid the come down.

Not sure how the come down is with non MDMA pills.

SWIMs taken pills and pure mdma powder.
Just from her own experience,
pure is much cleaner and better with not nearly as much of a horrid strung out/depressed comedown.
But more emphasis on the not strung out part.

SWIM has not really noticed much difference between the comedowns. Generally SWIM feels a little irritable for a day or two and SWIM might be a little bit more susceptible to the blues when compared to their usually optimistic standards.

SWIM sometimes wonders if it is not just in people's heads that MDMA is a 'cleaner' comedown, and thus, actually feel a bit better because they're telling themselves it is (rather than looking at every grim reminder of a comedown after Pills).


SWIM agrees with the above poster that Coke is far worse.

There's no crash from mdma immediately following the main effects. In fact, there is usually an afterglow that lasts the whole next day. The serotonin dip does not happen until 2 days after the experience. There's a chart somewhere, will edit when swim finds it.

Thats true. When swim gets really clean pills he notices no comedown... he usually wakes up in the morning with a frizzled mind but its not a bad feeling... (afterglow) Swim only comes down off bullshit pills.
