Salvia to ease the come down and days following it?
Normally, during any heavy comedown, SWIM pops a load of Concerta, Wellbutrin and variety of painkillers in an attempt to not feel like a worthless bag of bones for days on end. Last week, however, while coming down after a three day amphetamine binge, SWIM smoked some Salvia. SWIM feels this produced a number of positive effects.
Afterwards he felt no real need to take any additional drugs. In fact, the rest of the day was spent on the brink of happiness, for want of a better term. The following days SWIM felt his amphetamine cravings weren't nearly as strong as is normally the case. Also, not long after smoking the Salvia SWIM went to sleep for a bit (about 6 to 8 hours) and he wonders if, perhaps, it was a deeper sleep as usual since he only felt (heavily) sleep deprived for one day, a day and a half, maybe, instead of the usual three. Finally, there are probably weeds that are more productive over the course of the week, than SWIM is after speeding for a few days, coming down with a complete lack of any sort of impulse or motivation to review/study even one of his courses. The Salvia high, however, appeared to enforce in him a sense of, well... responsibility with regards to his university work. He probably got more work done this week than in the last month or so.
Now, SWIM would like to know if anyone has ever tried the same and if they perhaps experienced effects similar to those mentioned above? SWIM is basically wondering if the Salvia was actually responsible or if he, by chance, just happened to have a good week.
