Methadone and tattoos

SWIM is getting his first tattoo on tuesday and is shit scared of needles, he was wondering if methadone would have any adverse affects, thinning blood for example.

Please do not lecture me on "don't use drugs to get a tattoo, experience the pain" etc arguments, I'm simply not interested in them.

Simply put: Is methadone safe to be on during a small (30 minute) tattoo.
