Effects - No effects from ecstasy :(

SWIM has been using ecstasy occasionally for over a few years now. Ever since SWIM started he has noticed that it took him twice or three times as long as his friends to start feeling the effects. Also since the start just one has never worked for SWIM while it worked well on all his friends. SWIM has tried chewing the pill, taking it whole and snorting (chat). However recently SWIM has been feeling hardly anything or nothing from pills, for example last week SWIM and his friends took some pills for a party. SWIM took two at the same time and swallowed them. His friends took one and some took two at once. An hour later all SWIMS friends were peaking and he felt nothing. Another hour passes and nothing but slight effects, at this time SWIMS friends are peaking the "hardest they have ever peaked" of these crazy pills. SWIM crushed his last pill up and snorted it, he felt mild effects from the next hour then nothing. SWIM is tired of paying this much for pills and not getting anything out of them. He has tried drinking before consumption and still nothing. SWIM apologies for the long post, but can anyone give SWIM some advice as he enjoys extasy very much so. Regards SWIM

sorry for re post, but SWIM want's to point out that he occasional has used it, roughly 6-12 times so he does not think it has anything to do with the "loss of magic" experienced by moderate users. Thanks

Is swiy on any prescription medications? Specifically an SSRI or MAOI?

Does swiy test his pills before consumption?

SWIM uses ritalin/ concerta on weekdays for its actual purpose. no SWIM does not test the pills, however he researches what they contain on pillreport, also his friends take the same pills and have a peak

SWIY has probably built up a tolerance from the ritalin which is like an amphetamine I believe and so is MDMA

yea, SWIM takes ritalin for its purpose and has felt it gives diminished effects with MDMA because it is an amphetamine as well. SWIM would suggest (he does this) stop taking your ritalin about 5 days to a week before you drop. also consuming alcohol on or before E can be very bad for you, and depending on how much and your tolerance to alcohol can "numb" the effects of E. its the same idea of you loosing feeling in ur body and not feeling getting smacked in the face when drunk, the E just amplifies this reaction. try also taking vitamin C before and after SWIY rolls, vitamin water while rolling is a good thing to do as well. try some of this and it should help. and if SWIY has snorted and damaged the lining in his nose or by other means; you might want to try taking it rectally, sounds gay but much better on lower dose. look it up on the forum to get more info about it

Being a regular ritalin user definitely has an effect.

SWIM once had friends over, and one friend has a ritalin prescription. He had never used MDMA before (SWIM has zero reason to doubt this), but was found to be as tolerant as SWIM easily if not more so!

This is not completely uncommon. MDMA just does not work for everyone. How well the drug works is mostly based on brain chemistry and somewhat based on setting. Even without the greatest setting, one should be able to feel a decent dose of MDMA fairly well if the brain chemistry is sufficient. SWIY may have tolerance to serotonin itself regardless of any previous drug use due to naturally higher levels. There are plenty of other reasons as well. SWIM knows a few people who have taken MDMA several times and have never felt it and have never been on an SSRI or any other prescription drug or supplements that could have prevented them from experiencing the drug. They would be from the same batches of pills that SWIM himself and others have reagent tested, consumed and confirmed legitimacy and potency. Genetics and lifestyle play a significant role as well..

SWIM would suggest reading the threads about "reclaiming the magic", as there are some ideas of gaining back the desired effects of MDMA. Some have suggested Piracetam, 2c-b, or SJW, to name a few, as tools to help regain the magic. Its a subject worth exploring...

Swim has had this problem before, he tried taking some mdma, and he felt nothing from it. few weeks later he tried taking 1 ecstacy tablet, no gain. it was not until the third pill he started feeling the effects. seems like some people have much bigger tolerance for the chemicals than others.

After years of consumption of mdma, swim developed a progressive resistance. At the beginning, it was 70mg by trip. Then, 100, then 200, until 300mg in first taking, renewed one or two times. Most part of party pills, swim do not even feel them, unless taking some, according to the contents of mdma or mda in those party pills. It can go to 6 of them to sent some effects...
