Ssre?
I'm diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression. So pharmaceutical therapy has focused primarily on SSRIs and CNS depressants, to help ease me into sleep at night.
I've been through fluoxetine (Prozac), sertraline (Zoloft), and fluvoxamine (Luvox). All three have had adverse reactions: Prozac made me suicidal, Zoloft had absolutely no effect what so ever, and Luvox induced a psychotic break filled with paranoid delusions.
So I've been reading up on antidepressants, hoping to come across something I could mention to my psychiatrist as an alternative to SSRIs. While on Wikipedia, I came across a newer class of antidepressants called SSREs, Selective Serotonin Reuptake Enhancers.
Has anyone had success with this class of drugs in combating both anxiety and depression?

Well after even more research, it turns out that tianeptine (the only known SSRE), is sold under the trade name, Stablon in almost every country except for the United States. Pharmaceuticals can't make a profit off it here, because for some patent reason it could go striaght to generics. God forbid they put the interest of the people first... afterall that is why this government was established in the first place, no?
Anyway.. it's not restricted nor FDA regulated, so I can legally have it shipped in from abroad.
