Music Any Herman Brood fans?

SWIM would like to know if there are any DF members who are as passionate about this man as he is? If so, what are SWIY's favorite songs of his? As far as SWIM is concerned: Love You Like I Love Myself, Rock 'n' Roll Junkie, Saturday Night (obviously) and When I Get Home (heart-breaking, to say the least).

SWIM realises that those familiar with Brood will mostly be of Dutch or Belgian origin; so, for those unaware of the man's existence, here is some trivia that will hopefully get you interested (SWIM considers it his mission to introduce as many people to Brood as possible, as the man is terribly, horribly, dreadfully underrated):

- A Dutch musician and painter (graffiti, mostly). The bulk of his body of work could be labeled rock 'n' roll. Should one wish to get acquainted with his work, SWIM would suggest starting with My Way: The Hits (a superb collection).
- An amphetamine addict for over 15 years and the Netherlands' most hugable junkie.
- Caused quite a stir after an interview was broadcasted in which he snorts some speed and then offers some to the reporter. He can also be seen shooting up in a couple of documentaries.
- He met his manager while scouring the floor for a syringe he accidently dropped. The good man simply joined the search. He later became the person who supplied Brood with his daily fix when on tour.
- Brood commited suicide (after being told he was dying) by jumping of the Hilton hotel in Amsterdam.

SWIM regards Brood as the embodiment of the 'sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll' credo.
