Clonazepan for all my life?
Dear friends,
I am a 42 year old woman who suffers from panic attacks (this was since I was 7 yeas old but I did not what it was and then when I was an adult I suffer them frecuently) and the doctor has prescribed me clonazepan. Now I feel better and I have not had one several months ago. (I was taking first alprazolan with sertralina for 1 year and then clonazepam with sertralina for almost 2 years). The problem is that I feel anxious and I am taking in the morning a 1 mg pill of clonazepam and at night 1 mg pill of clonazepam and I feel ok. My question is am I going to take it all my life? I think that if I do not take the pill I am going to have a panic attack or when I decide not to take the morning pill I feel axious. Another thing is that someone has told me that clonazepan makes you first loose your memory and then you can be dependent of this drug.
Please if you were so kind can you help me? God bless you.
Regards,
Joauina
