CWE technique question - to shake or not to shake?

Hello everyone, this is my first post on here so I hope it is of interest to some people

I have reasonable CWE experience (30+ extractions), I usually cool my mixture to around 10degrees in the freezer before extraction. I have a question for all your CWE'ers our there: do you shake the mixture up before pouring through the filter, or do you leave the semi-seperated mixture as it is?

In my various extractions I have found shaking before pouring through the filter to produce a much clearer solution, I have no idea what causes this.
