Drug info - Getting an American script filled in Canada

I'm american and i'm in Edmonton, Alberta right now on a 6 week business trip. I filled my 30 day prescription before I left about a week ago, but I will need to get it filled again soon while I'm still in AB. How would that work for an american? should I go to a family practitioner or a psychologist? will they accept my US insurance? I've noticed (from reading on the internet) that most canadian doctors are anti-adderall; does anyone know of one that isn't?

Maybe SWIY sound call your doctor in america and have him mail you a script to wherever you are... that's going to be your best bet.

It is SWIM's understanding that validity of prescription in US and Canada are reciprocal, however the same does not apply for prescription from other countries, i.e. Mexico.
