Experiences - Extraction by boiling?

My question do the stems of the plant have have enought alkaloids worth boiling out? and will this get them all. I planed on using the alcohol method again but i realized i was out of it.

Should i throw a little butter in with the boiling solution so the cannibinoids have a fatty to grab too? i through in about 1 tbl spoon of sugar for the heck of it ha.
