Experiences - Ayahuasca scared but very curious

Swim has been around the preverbal block. At the moment my friend, we'll call him SWIM seems to be afraid of the Ayahuasca experience though never having done said Ayahuasca. He says he's logged a lot of man hours in doing the research on medical aspects and knows the risk of Maoi's but yet something still deters him.. See Swim just over came a horrible opiate addiction and has vowed to keep everything Swim consumes ORGANIC (pot, mushrooms, cacti) He has done so for a while know. But the wounds are still there I believe. Swim also hasn't tripped since his run in with the opiate lords. And the writer thinks Ayahuasca will be an uncomfortably overwhelming first trip back.
What are your thoughts? Should there be some kind of psychedelic lubricant before the Ayahuasca experience(i.e. mushrooms or mescaline)? Gemme some feed back please.

SWIY should get good and familiar with 5-MeO-DMT and n,n, DMT. Granted, smoking these drugs only lasts up to 30 minutes, where the aya experience lasts hours, but these are the main non maoi ingredients of aya, so get familar. SWIY should then read up on MAOIs and all the food and drink to avoid when consuming them, follow that diet for a week or so, then experiment with a psychoactive MAOI like harmaline on its own. Then, perhaps smoke some 5-meo or n,n,. or best yet a blend of both, while experiencing harmaline, for a 30 minute preview of an ayahuasca experience. LSD and mushrooms can help too as preparatory agents, but nothing outside of the DMT family can prepare ones psyche fully.

Point taken. SWIY might have tried AMT, 5-meo-dipt,5-meo-dmt, Dipt, Bromo-D.Fly and a plethora of RCz before the MFin Analog laws where passed. This being said everything SWIY reads about the whole AYA, and DMT experiences blow the ship out of the water so to speak. AMT for swim anyway was alien in nature but not uncomfortably Alien( really intense time though swiy was quoted as saying) But all and all I believe he's done with chemical preparation that he himself didn't make. So yes viable psychedelic lubrication is going to have to stick to the Organic in nature(or slightly altered by SWIY) At least for now.....LOL......
