Finding Drug users
My friend goes goes to a fairly small christian private school, about 100 people in the highschool. Whenever he mentions anything about drug use everyone just says "OMGZ DONT DO DRUGS". My friend cant find any drug using friends, the crowd he hangs with is way to anti-drug. What would be the best advice for my friend to find some drug users? He is haveing alot of trouble finding anyone.

Is your friend with people the same age as he is? If so, are they opposed to drinking alcohol?

a lot of the time, drug users won't seem at all like stereotypical druggies. in fact, many of the people that are the most heavy into drugs seem like totally normal people, keeping private the habits and experiments they do on their own time. all your friend can really do is wait for someone to overhear him and approach him that shares his interests in mind-altering substances. actually one of the best ways to connect with other people like that is to wait until he's outside of a formal setting, like school, to be more open about it, and then other users won't be kept down by the moralistic social "rules" enforced in formal settings like school, and then they might be more open about it.

SWIM says if you really want to meet people who use drugs try skateparks. All of SWIMS friends hang out at the skate park and all they do is skate and smoke bowls.

raves are a good place to start. Usually you have to be atleast eighteen and if you are still in high school then this may be an issue.

I gotta call bullshit on this. We're on a forum discussing drugs that are illegal for everyone. And assuming that someone somehow gets enlightened on the very day they turn 18 is also stupid. I'm willing to bet that most of swiy started experimenting with drugs in your teens. Swim knows swim did.

Monkey started with drugs well before 18, but it is for legal reasons that minors aren't allowed to post here. Hypothetically discussiong drugs is not illegal, contributing to the delinquency of a minor is.

Tell your friend to go to raves that don't require to be over the age of 18. That will solve all your friend's drug-friend-finding needs.
