Dose - Codeine First Timer

SWIM has wanted to try Codeine for awhile and has found a bottle with Promethazine and Codeine. Since it is a prescription bottle, SWIM cannot find how many mL's the bottle is, except that it is "QTY: 120"

Could that mean it is 120mL of the medicine? If so, what kind of dose is recommended for SWIM as he is a first timer to Codeine, and also weighs 125 pounds. I read somewhere that it is 10 mL of Codeine for every 5mL of the medicine.

Swim is sorry but with the amount of information/ lack of "correct"information Swiy has given, the only advice Swim feels comfortable giving at this time is: The "QTY: 120" most likely means that with a "brand new" UN-opened bottle, the bottle contains 120 individual "doses".

All the other information Swiy has given seems too "sketchy" for Swim to confidently advise on.
