Expired Vicodin
SWIM's father has an unopened bottle of hydrocodone bitartrate 5mg that expired in 2002. Does it really expire?

swim says that they will still work and doubt you would even notice a weakness in them, however he would STRONGLY advise against taking pills from parents/friends/reltives.

Someone at healthcentral dot com asked a similar question.

According to Karen Lee Richards (at the same site) who is the co-founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association, she says the only result of expiration is reduced potency.

Okay, maybe SWIM will take 10 mg. SWIM doesn't really have a tolerance to opiates. So if these were not expired, would SWIM be able to function on 10 mg?

in 2001 tt has injected morphine amp's that expired in the 1970ies. many opiate-like
substances can be consumed though being "expired" a few years. but anyway always
try to find some info about special opiates/ides.
