Side effects - Codeine causes nausea in SWIM, other opiates don't

what the title reads really. SWIM will take oxycodone, tramadol, and be absolutely fine. but if SWIM takes more than about 30mg of codeine SWIM gets extreme stomach cramps and nausea. any reasons as to why, friends?

It's weird that oxycodone didn't produce the same effects, since usually when people have adverse reactions to codeine, they also get them from hydrocodone,oxycodone and such.

But wait, you haven't been taking any dangerous amount of Acetaminophen/Paracetamol with the codeine have you? If so, then that could explain your symptoms.

that is not so uncommon, i experienced the same with dihydrocodeine, try
Metoclopramide (MCP) half an hour before. It even will make the codeine
effect a bit stronger.

Metachlopramide (Primperan) is an anti-nausea drug sold OTC.It will most likely hell with the nausea you're experiencing but there's no reason for it to potentiate codeine in any way.

you are right with this, but i'd expect a faster and better absorbtion. i read
that this works with morphine, so i thought it would apply to codeine, too
