LSD Purity

Hi, I have been considering taking LSD for a couple of mounths, but have found it hard to get. The one person that has connections to get it says that it is dangerous cause it has other stuff in it. i thought this was a myth because blotters arnt normally impure. He says that they 'soak the blotters' in stuff that is dangerous. is this a myth? or is it quite possible?
