Very Strange meth Addiction?

Once every 2 months or so SWIM treats himself to a weekend on the crystal goodness. Usually it goes fine, come down at the end and everything back to normal in a couple of days... But recently SWIM had a bad comedown, and then later on in the week, SWIM woke up high and had no memory of ever smoking any. This continued for a few days, cash would go missing, SWIM would be high, and SWIM would have no memory of smoking more. The strange thing is, SWIM didn't actually want to smoke any more. SWIM doesn't even know WHERE he was getting it from. It was happening automatically somehow. SWIM eventually snapped out of it though. Has this happened to anyone else?
