Side effects - Yellow Vision and Cannabis

Hello,
When swim gets high, his vision goes totally yellow, no matter if hes in a lit room or outside. His entire field of vision is tainted yellow for several hours even into the comedown. Swim never met anyone else who gets this effect from cannabis. Anyone out there get this while high?

SWIM gets this somewhat from diphenhydramine, but never from weed. Weed tends to give everything a green/purple glow, but it doesn't actually look like there's a true tint of those colors, more like a highlight. DXM gives SWIM a reddish aura, but it isn't actually truly visual, it's more like it feels visual than it is actually seen. No other drugs SWIM has tried have caused a color-specific effect like this; most psyches tend not to discriminate which colors SWIM hallucinates in.

swims never heard of this happenin before n he knows alot of ppl who smoke, but it effects everybody in a different way either positive or negative. Has swiy taken any hallucinogens before? Swim hears birds churpin n shit when hell baked, theres a good example of something different happenin when hell stoned. Swiy says it lasts for several hours swim thinks fuck those were the days..

the yellow tinge-things proberbly in swiys head, or maybe the weed just makes ya hyper-sensitive to things cause swim remembers when he first started smoking colors seemed more intense as did all his other senses(though now swim smoked so much the novelty of the high wore-off and he doesnt get all the fun stuff when he smokes now).

How identifiable is this yellow "vision"? In some people, vision, thought and psychoactivity are all deeply interlinked and there is an outside possibility that cannabis use may trigger a synaesthetic effect which presents itself to you as this peculiar visual phenomenon. I've never heard of such a thing with cannabis but you often here of LSD users sensing the "purple haze" on the tail-end of a trip (coincidentally there being a popular cannabis strain of the same name).

Swim has found his high is very different after salvia, 2c-e and HPPD. In fact, this only started happening after that. It may indeed be synesthesia in a sense. Swim's high is basically a two hour salvia trip now, so I wouldn't doubt it. Cannabis triggers a trip more visual and powerful than salvia for swim, so its a sure possibility that it may trigger synesthesia as well. Thanks for the response.

When driving at night, does swiy ever notice that the light coming out of the windows of houses is yellow / orange?

That's because incandescent bulbs emit a yellowish / orange glow that our eyes adapt to while inside.

This may sound crazy, but maybe when swiy gets high, their eyes unadapt?
Does swiy only see yellow indoors? Is the light source incandescent?

Sounds crazy to me, but it's an idea.

Oddly enough, swim thinks this makes sense. He can remember now that when he smoked and then turned on the lamp near him, his vision was covered with a yellow veil. This didn't seem to odd to him but unfortunately this veil of yellow sticks with him wherever he goes: outside at night or day and inside under any lighting circumstances. Swim guess the lighting source must trigger it for the next few hours.

SWIM has experienced a similar thing to the OP before, except with a purple tinge to everything rather than yellow. Only when extremely stoned though and only once or twice as far as SWIM can remember

How long has this been happening for, and is this from smoking the same weed, or has SWIY experienced this from smoking weed acquired from different sources or at different times.

SWIM asks because his father sent his vision green (he reported everything appeared a different shade of green) for roughly 4 days after doing alot of grinding work on some copper, or brass (SWIM cant remember which). If SWIY has been smoking from a single purchase of weed SWIM wonders if it might have been given an unusual and strong nutrient solution and not flushed, or perhaps contaminated in some way, potentially to bulk its weight.

Could be a possibility as well. Swim thinks he got the weed from the same person, not sure if it was the same weed each time though. Although I dont believe his friends had any problems. Swim thinks he is just going to stop smoking altogether, its far too intense for him.

SWIM gets a weird brownish-yellow color in his subconcious thought, it's hard to explain, he feels that color, this happens whenever he is stoned, and sort of likes it.

SWIM has read on another forum someone having something similar with red, swim thinks...? Swim is not sure which forum, could have been this one.
