Social - have you ever thought why the hell theres so many cannabis dealers?

swim was thinking today,why the is there so many canbis dealers compared to dealers of other drugs?
theres at least 15 dealers within a few miles off me that sell cannabis,getting skunk is literlally easier than going to the shop and buying booze. but only 1 coke dealer 1 H dealer and 2 pill dealers.
why is cannabis so popular to deal?

Because so many people enjoy the high from marijuana and it's a lot more socially acceptable than harder drugs and because of these two reasons there is a high demand for marijuana. And because of this high demand this lets for a lot more people to deal and make profit from it.

Also marijuana is far easier to cultivate and distribute than other drugs! A few weeks growing some plants and SWIM/Y has got themselves up to a hundred plants, each creating lots of buds which fuels the consumers needs Also it's not hard to grow marijuana compared to creating/synthesizing some other compounds.

SWIM finds it way easier to synth methamphetamine or grow some poppies and get some opium than it would be to go through the long process of growing marijuana plants, letting them flower and then curing the buds as well as getting a good yield off of those plants or having the land or space plus the money to buy the nutes and lamps etc.

Well SWIM guesses so, although some people find cultivating marijuana very easy with a little practice. I suppose that can be said with anything really, with practice comes perfection. Though a set up for growing some plants is quite simple and can be done by anyone with a computer for information and a credit card, meanwhile synthesizing for the average joe isn't that straight foward as some people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Hcl and H2O! Oh Swim remembers one science lesson well.

swim tried cultavating at one point for swims boyfriend but the plant didnt end up growing very well.bloot is growing poppies very difficult? i was told youd need fileds off poppies just to make a few grams off morphine?

Less prison time if they get arrested. And it all depends on where someone is living as skunk can be hard to get where swim is living, hash is more easy but even that runs dry at times. Coke is more easy then heroine or skunk to get here maybe even easier then hash.

Then again it depends on who someone knows.. Hang around with certain individuals and expect a knock on the door.. So those people are only used for the one thing. Think you can ques what that might be ?

Hard drugs are WAY more illegal too. An ounce of marijuana in Illinois gets you up to a year of jail or a 2500$$$ fine, and if it's your first offense, just probation. But more than a very small personal amount of pills or cocaine will get you a few years in jail at least.

LE is also way less likely to catch somone with weed and set up a sting or "controlled buy" on the dealer.

For other drugs thats not true, they can and WILL track that shit back to the top.

Cocaine is a very dangerous and risky business. It's totally different than being in marijuana business. Cocaine will eventually get you killed or thrown in jail for a long, long time, while Marijuana won't. BUT ... BUT BUT...with more risks involved, the more $$$ coke, heroin dealers make.

It's the $$$ that drags you in the coke, heroin business.
