which is worse : a drug addiction or gambling addiction?
Here is a question to pose to the government .
while in many states here in America , casinos that are on property owned and operated by native american indians are now everywhere, they operate legally and are taxed by the U.S.
Gaming in my opion is far far worse than recreational use of drugs.
Here is why, beenthere's friend donethatagain use to be a regular patron of casinos in his area, he could throw away hundreds of dollars in a few hours to his addiction to gambling. the amount of money lost could be much larger if his pockets were deeper. and then have to leave without really being satisfied.
On the other hand , he could never spend that kind of money on drugs .
for around 20 to 50 dollars he could be satisfied.
there is more to this than money , the time spent in casinos is time away from home, family, work , etc.
how can we be allowed the right to toss away all of our cash in a gambling joint but not allowed to buy a joint? I don't get it.
please reply with your take on this thread. I would love some feedback
