Niacin (Vitamin B-3) for Anxiety & Depression
SWIM had found Vitamin B-3 on the top rated list of meds for social anxiety, so he decided to buy some and give it a shot. The recommended dosage was 250-500mg/day until your body gets used to it and then you can increase it as necessary.
Pros: - SWIM's anxiety was almost completely cured the FIRST DAY of taking this supplement - Cures constipation - Aids in digestion by helping produce more stomach acid - No tolerance, effects accumulate so you don't need to take as much later on - Relieves allergies - Makes it easier to focus on one thing, stops your thoughts from bouncing around - Lowers cholesterol - Cheap! Cons: - Really bad flushing for the first week of taking it until your body gets used to it Go out and get some! It's very cheap. Make sure to get Niacin not Niacinamide. Do NOT get extended release, or flush free. Anyone else have experience with vitamin b-3? |
