Dose - Urgent-How long after last opiate dose is Suboxone safe to take?

Anyone who knows their shit please answer SWIM asap as he doesn't have much time to make this decision (samuraigecko, you around?)
Anyway, SWIM takes hydrocodone in large dosages, tramadol in very small dosages, and poppy tea whenever available. He has not had any tea for over 2 weeks so that part is negligible. He dosed approx. 100 mgs of hydro and 50 mgs tramadol upon waking this morning, about 5 hours ago. A friend of a friend is going to give him a few suboxone 8mg tabs (the orange ones, with the naloxone). SWIMs goal is to take a few days off of hydro and tram to stretch his script. Does SWIM need to wait until he is fully in WD to reap benefits from sub, or does he only need to wait until the effects of the hydro/tram have worn off, which they pretty much have. He wants the sub to hold off wds for a few days but he would also like to get some nice feelings from it. His usual sub dose for anti-wd is 4mgs, for effects he goes for 6-8 mgs. If SWIM takes sub in about 2 hours, will it help him, both in fighting wd's and in feeling nice? Also, once he is out of sub, how long must he wait for traditional opies to work again? He would like to make some tea when he's out of sub, then use tea till the pods are gone, then back to the hydro/tram to finish the month. Basically he is trying to make it thru a month without resorting to heroin.
Side question, does sub block the effects of kratom also?

bupe will knock hydrocodone out of the receptors, so swim wouldn't be concerned about it not working.
