Hey guys,
SWIM was wondering if smoking some Syrian Rue seeds before smoking some Kratom leaves would potentially increase the effects of Kratom. Syrian Rue is an MAO-Inhibitor so it makes the effects of most drugs alot more powerful. (SWIM still hasn't tried Syrian Rue, and he ordered them online recently.) SWIM hasn't been too successful with the effects of some Super Indo Kratom that he purchased, the effects seem to be very mild and not too noticable. SWIM was also wondering if making Kratom tea would be more effective as well. Thanks. |

Re: Kratom & Syrian Rue?
Absolutely go for the tea rather than smoking, that's how it's traditionally used. Combining it with syrian rue propably isn't a good idea, there could be a lot of nausea and vomitting. Not to mention it could be dangerous with too high doses. Just make a tea out of kratom and it should work.

Re: Kratom & Syrian Rue?
Grinding kratom to a powder and mixing with water (or putting it into gel caps) and swallowing is more effective than tea. Kratom is not really for smoking. Mixing anything with Syrian rue is likely to be uncomfortable.

Re: Kratom & Syrian Rue?
I must politely disagree as the traditional method of using kratom is chewing the fresh leaves and not making tea. As for the syrian rue definitely do not mix it with the kratom.
What dose of kratom has this person tried? Perhaps it is too low. Certain people only react to certain brands of kratom so perhaps a change of brands is needed. Peace |

Quote:
outside the traditionnal south-east Asian context, since chewing fresh leaves is impractical (too bitter, unlike fresh leaves), the most common uses are oral ingestion ( eating leaves or extracts) or infusions (teas, concentrated teas), which work fine. chewing fresh leaves brings out the stimulant aspect of Kratom, which is why it's so popular with workers. b |
