Adderall IR vs. Adderall CR

SWIM would like to know peoples opinion regarding the difference between controlled release and immediate release Adderall for both medicinal and pleasure purposes. She always has been prescribed immediate release but her doctor has suggested maybe switching her to controlled release due to anxiety side effects.

Any thoughts or experiences would be very helpful to SWIM.
