Police ignoring personal grows?

SWIM has been told by a few people, busted for growing small amounts, and apperently because the police were happy no electricity was being stolen, and it wasn't for sale the plants and grow equipment were not siezed.

SWIM also read in soft secrets magazine that the police were also doing similar things in the UK.

So is this common place now? Have the police decided that people growing their own aren't going to dealers, they aren't causing any one any harm and that it's not worth the paperwork for a few plants.

SWIM knows it won't have gone down as official policy, but is this common now?

Dunno, Y guesses they have probably put everyone off growing by making them paranoid, with upping the classification back to B.
Just a guess, though, aint got a clue really.

More like the opposite - the police hate all cannabis growers, will use any technology or snitches they can to isolate it and then treat you like a terrorist. Brown's Britain is a very hostile place for cannabis right now.

Re: Police ignoring personal grows?

Maybe in places like california personal grows are ignored, but around my area the cops would love such a bust. So far as the electricity goes, only stolen electricity will get police attention, a spike in use doesn't really get SWIM's door broken down.
