Dose - 60x Salvia divinorum extract, first time

i recently orderd some salvia 60x extract for me and a mate of the net, this would be our first time trying it, i read some stuff on it after i made th order.. and i sort of gatherd that 60x for the first time is like "jumping in at the deep end" LOL.. just wondering what people thought..

Im going to go against the masses here and say it almost never made a difference with me. A bad trip was a bad trip, a result of a bad scene and setting, regardless of the strenght. Bad trips are just as likely to happen on 5x first time. Best case scenario your feeling pretty confident and your first trip will be an incredible one as opposed to one of the ''I feel funny, lolz'' variety.

SWIM is with Stu Bai. SWIY will likely have a more intense trip than on a lower potency, but this is not necessarily bad, Just remember to smoke it right (blue flame, holding it in for ages, etc).
Perhaps 'tasting' the smoke first before really going for it, so the taste/texture of the smoke does not shock them and make them cough it out.

Also number one rule RESPECT the salvia, (SWIY will understand this in a whole new way after they have experienced it). Do it sitting down in a comfy place no sharp objects around etc, Ideally with a sitter you trust a great deal, to take the pipe and lighter off you when you have had enough.
Ideally you should also instruct the sitter not to interfear i.e. talk to SWIY while they are tripping as it wont benefit the trip or them in any way.

swim bought a pipe and smoke the salvia, not all about 2 hits expectin a good experiance.. but he waited and he felt a little funny almost asif he was pissed, then he started laughin for about 30 seconds... then nothing.. this was not what he was expecting at all after hearing of all the other good experiance.. so tomorrow he plans on smoking the rest of it.. at once if he can to see what happens

On offence intended -but how exactly is SWIladdo smoking it?

SWIM once tried 60x and it blew him away. Alot of people try salvia and puff on it like weed, or use a normal lighter and are disappointed, SWIM cant stress how important smoking salvia the right way is, to get the full experience it gives.

SWIM has also had big variation in the quality of salvia of the same strengths, so this could be having some effect.

What does the 60x salvia look like, is it like chopped leaves, or almost dust, or in small pellets?

lighter and pipe are from local headshop, salvia is in like a dust form but the odd tiny leaf could be made out, and was orderd of the net, off a well known site

it was smoked as informed on many different sites, it was inhaled and held in for aslong as humanly possible.. i also read that it can take a higher dose for people who are not used to it to get an effect, is this true..

half a gram is to be smoked 2morro night to see if anything happens

1/2 gram?

that is a lot of 60x salvia, it usually only takes a few hits of 20x to blow SWIM away. are SWIY using a butane lighter? what kind of pipe? is SWIY using a screen to keep the salvia from pulling through? if SWIY is smoking it properly I would start questioning the quality of the salvia if 60x isnt working.

I tried salvia for first time tonight, 1st try with a mate in a normal pipe, like small hash pipe, 60x stuff, made me giggle a little and thought whats all the fuss about, then i made a ghetto pipe, plastic cola bottle, foil etc. Smoked some 40x through this and it blew me away, very crazy shit, how you smoke it seems important though.

yeh SWIM has read alot on salvia.. and the salvia itself came from a well respected source online, along with other products and these all had good reviews on the site its self.. SWIM did use a normal lighter but dusnt see how the lighter would make a differance, but will try with one recomended

From experience a blue flame on the salvia all the time SWIM is smoking, rather than a normal lighter, really does make All the difference. The psychoactive chemicals in salvia vaporize at a much higher temperature than weed etc, thats why salvia spliffs don't really work.

ok so swim tried about half the salvia in a pipe and is glad to say that it had an effect.. but the environment was probly not the best, in a garage

swim held it in for a while and blew out he did this twice and sat lent up to a worktop.. he felt asif he was part of the worktop and that he couldnt move when he did move his arm began to "crumble away" sort of toon like and he couldnt speak properly at all this lasted about 5 minutes

a friend of swim also felt the same feelings and started to roll on the floor laughing literaly then wen he stopped claimed his ams where again "crumbling away" and that he had "scales"

other affects did occur but i wont go into them

This sounds like salvia. however alot less than 1/2g of 60x should have got SWIY and their freind to this state/stage.
