Dose - How long should it last?

SWIM was speaking to someone about the time MDMA powder should last for.
they said what they get they start feeling in 20 mins, then 30/40 mins is the peak, then an hour later you come down.
Everything i've read about it, says it should last around 3-4 hours.
do people still think this is MDMA powder they're getting, or could it be something else?
also what would people advise it a good dose for this? 100mg, then a 60mg booster after an hour or so?

There is really no definitive answer for the first part because there are so many factors involved that can greatly affect the times. SWIM has never felt anything until at least 45 minutes has passed, sometimed up to 90, but usually an hour. Noone he has ever rolled with has came up in 20 minutes or peaked by 40. I don't know where these numbers come from, whether it's guessing or actual testing was done on humans. They don't seem accurate at all. Peak times very by brain chemistry, MDMA quantity,route of administration and various other things. SWIM has experienced peaks as short as one hour and as long as 6. That doesn't include comeup/comedown. MDMA powder is a better choice and may cause quicker absorbtion and what not, but quantity of MDMA present and brain chemisty are more important factors. Regarding doses, the MAPS MDMA research team (a valuable source) uses 125mg with a booster dose of 62.5mg an hour later. That should be the standard SWIMers should go by.

yeah, this was just they're opinion of the times they've tried it, nothing scientific. just trying to figure out if what they have tried was weak mdma, or if it could have been something else.

SWIM came up in 20 - 30 minutes, and it lasted about 3 -4 hours, then was in the trippy stage for about an hour she thinks, then came down.
SWIM has no idea about doses, she would like to know this too, and how to make it last as long as possible? Because she almost felt like it wasn't worth it just for 3 to 4 hours, considering the comedown...she's never heard anyone say it only lasts about an hour, she'd be gutted if this happened to her!

Decent stuff should give no major comedown, bit spaced the next day perhaps, well so swim has heard. comeup around 40-70 mins, buzzing for around 3 hours, then 1-2 hours chillin and bed?!?
