how long does heroin stay in your system
Swim has a drug test coming up on march the 16th and is wondering if he uses on the 12th will he be able to pass if he he doesnt use again after the 12th? Swim will also be running for at least 20 minutes a day as well as taking hydroxycut on each of the days from the 12th to the 16th. But Swim will not be shooting the dope until at least 11pm on the 12th and his probation appointment is at 11am on the 16th. Please let Swim know asap if he is in the clear for his drug test or if he needs to go another route to make sure he will pass the test, a route other than not using. It is a probation test by the state if that makes any difference at all for the answers swim gets from whoever may answer this question....Thanks

Ok dude. Please don't risk this. Please please. It's stupid to do this and risk going back to prison, right? But if you do it on the 12th it is unlikely you will get detected on the 16th. Recently the threshold concentration they test for in your urine has been raised and the detection period for opiates is now very short, like literally one or or two days at most. 6-MAM especially breaks down quickly, so even if they do bust you, it will just be for morphine in your urine and not 6-MAM, so they can't prove it's heroin and not a bunch of poppy seeds.
But please don't do this. Do you really want to risk it for a stupid high? Whatever you do, do not try to cheat the test after the fact (you should drink lots of water, but dont fuck with the urine after you piss). You will probably pass. Drink lots of fluids and blame it on poppy seeds if you fail. Or better yet, DONT GET HIGH.

P.S. What I said only applies to a urine test. They can test in hair much longer. And if you do end up lying, say it was a pastry with poppy seeds. A bagel isn't enough.

P.S. again: Another good piece of advise is to piss at least twice before you go get tested (the first piss of the day is the most dirty) and when you do give urine, piss "mid stream" meaning piss in the toilet for like two seconds, then in the cup, and then finish the last two seconds or so in the toilet. This urine is cleaner.

so then should swim just get one of the detox pills to be sure or what? I mean is there really not like a certain amount of time that people can expect for the heroin to be out of their systems?

24-72hrs, longer for a habitual user... Heroin is water soluble so theoretically, drinking water should eliminate heroin quicker from the system
