Kratom use for pain relief due to opiate-resistance?
Hello everyone. My cousin, Bigfoot had some concerns he wanted me to look into because he has no internet connection.
Bigfoot has diabetes and as a complication of it, neuropathy. Bigfoot is also uninsured at the moment. He has filled numerous prescriptions for both oxycodone and percocet for the neuropathy and other things like dental extractions. He tells me that he never gets any pain relief or "high" from these medications despite taking higher than recomended doses until the maximum amount of acetaminophen has been ingested. He also never gets any of the bad side-effects like itching, sweating, or nausea like his other cousin, Wendigo does.
Here is a link to an article in the Western Journal of Medicine titled, Diagnosis and treatment of opiate-resistant pain in advanced AIDS.

Bigfoot can not spend massive amounts of $$$ seeing doctors and trying various pain medicationss. He wants to know if anyone who is resistant to opiates has tried kratom for pain relief and how it worked.
Bigfoot's big feet are a hurtin' and he appreciates any and all input.
Thank you.
-Yetti.
