Smoking - Is there a way to get a fatter hit of tar? (smoking)

With other drugs like marijuana and meth, you can smoke it normally, or you can make a BONG and deliver a much bigger amount of smoke to your lungs in one hit. It usually results in a better rush and a better high, at least for me

SWIM always consumes his black tar by vaporizing it off a square of foil and inhaling the smoke through a bic pen.

He considers himself pretty good at it, he usually doesnt miss much smoke, if any at all, and gets decent hits. But is there anything SWIM can do to get even bigger hits?

He's heard of smoking it out of a vaporizer/g pipe, but as far as he can tell it's less effective then using the foil.

SWIM usually lights a candle and places it on the counter. Then grabs a toilet paper roll in one hand and the foil in the other. In SWIM's experience it is much more effective. I'm sure SWIY already heard of this method though...

He scanned over something at that "heroin helper" site and saw something about using a toilet paper roll instead of a bic pen, but he didn't really read the whole page.

Have you tried both the candle/toilet paper method AND the bic pen/bic lighter method?

SWIMs definitely gonna try that tonight. He understands why the toilet paper roll would probably help because youd miss a lot less smoke

But whats the benefit of the candle?

The benefit of the candle is SWIY doesn't have to hold a flame themselves. It's just there and SWIY has more hands to work with. Toilet paper/ candle method works pretty well in SWIMs opinion. He just finds candles to be...unpractical in certain situations.

SWIM has pretty good lung capacity and sucks nice and in pace with the rising to make sure he gets everything, but honestly he isn't some kind of tar smoking pro, just how he does it.

SWIM wishes there was some way to have a "Tar bong"

maybe swim could hold some kind of container above the foil and just light the tar until a large amount of smoke is in the container, and then inhale the entire contents of the container.

would that work, or does tar smoke go bad/stale quickly?

Oh SWIM forgot to mention he use to use water bottles (any plastic bottle will do) and those worked pretty well, he used them for freebasing a lot of stuff, and could use it anywhere along with being able to keep it in his mouth without any hands doesn't know how it would work filling up the container then taking it in 1 quick inhale would worrk though

yeah SWIM doesnt know how good it would work either.

he got the idea from how much higher he gets when smoking weed out of a bong. you know, milking the bong until theres a lot more smoke then you could get in one hit from a pipe, and then pulling out the bowl and inhaling sharply, giving you an even larger amount of smoke then usual in one quick hit. but idk, SWIM thinks that if it were possible, someone would've thought of it by now... But maybe not?

is there any reason anyone knows off the top of their head why it WOULDN'T work?

SWIM just doesn't wanna waste a bunch of black trying it if there is some obvious reason it won't work that he's overlooked

like does the smoke lose its potency quickly, like salvia does, or like how weed goes stale?

his idea is basically to cut off the end of a water bottle so its like a funnel. use a candle instead of a lighter to free up a hand, like someone mentioned earler. cover the top of the water bottle with one hand
hold the foil underneath it and chase the piece of black around, letting a larger amount of smoke then one could normally inhale in one breath collect inside the water bottle

then take his hand off the top and quickly take the whole hit in

any thoughts on this, or is SWIM just talking nonsense?

SWIM doesnt know why people keep saying to use such apparatus as bings and pipes they do no work as well as foil. Heroin needs to be heated not burnt!!

SWIY are wasting it otherwise. Also really you should use some rolled up foil to inhale it with as it catches the heroin in the tube which SWIY can then unroll and smoke. The H in there is very pure too!!

SWIM should probably just stick to the foil and straw

but he just wanted to know if anyone had an idea to get a "bong sized" hit of H, since its possible with other drugs and you usually get higher off a bong

but he's beginning to doubt its possible with heroin

since you aren't the first person to tell him about the purity of whatever stays in the straw

swim saw a bowl piece once designed to vaporize liquids into a bong. expensive though, at $50US. swim could see how this would work. interesting. swim is also getting sick of the foil. swim suggests not to mix swiy's gear with water and spread it around, but actually let it melt and slide instead. more concentrated. don't ever turn to the needle. just get better and faster on the foil.

SWIM doesn't think OP was suggesting the smoke passing through water, but more or less getting the smoke in a large enough volume, so you could clear a chamber filled with smoke, similar to how a bong, or shotgunning/steamrollers would work.

SWIM doesnt wanna filter the smoke through water, the part of the bong he wants to use is the "filling a large chamber with smoke" type deal

SWIMs been messing around with a few ideas but hasn't come up with anything really useable yet

as soon as SWIM figures something out he'll let everyone know

SWIM thinks if he finds a way to make this work it could give a significantly better "rush" with smoking.
Plus, like someone above me said, SWIMs getting sick of just the foil and straw. Something new could be fun!

SWIMs insanely afraid of needles, and he likes the social aspect of smoking with his girlfriend and friends. Just passing the piece around taking hits. Its always a good time

He cut off the bottom of the water bottle

took a square piece of foil
put a piece of tar on it, not really a fat bowl size but just a little piece

molded the foil around the bottom of the water bottle
duck taped around the sides so it was on there air tight

put his hand over the top of the water bottle (the part where the lid goes/where you suck the hit from)

and held it at an angle so the piece slides

he lit the piece

and the water bottle filled with smoke!
after getting it sufficiently milky, he took his hand off the top
and took the whole hit in!

and it worked!
if anyone doesnt understand he'll explain it better in a few, maybe take pictures too

he's gonna try it again with his last little piece.

obviously the idea probably needs some work, but still

to smoke out of a bong, have the cap look like a bent spoon, and for a handle have a straw. light underneith, and once lit pull through. Someone with a bong and H try it, it's just the matter of making a slide. Swim has neither, or he'd post his experience.

Swim once made a tea from some opium and marijuana. It was a 'tibetan' tea as he called it, that is, we just under-boiled some heavy cream and butter, threw the goodies in, and after about 30 mins...POW!

SWIM can't find his camera so he drew this really crappy picture on MS Paint to give you guys the general idea of the H bong he just now designed.
Keep in mind SWIM actually TRIED this just now and it worked
He was already high so he can't really say how much better it worked then taking a normal hit

The gray square on the bottom is a piece of foil wrapped around the bottom of the bong and sealed with duck tape
the thing below that, if you can't tell, is a lighter

The reason the water bottle is square is because its a Fiji water bottle
There are still some flaws in this design, but SWIM just wants to know if anyone has any ideas to make it better
Feel free to give it a shot, it actually worked and SWIM got a pretty big hit off of it.

Some flaws swim noticed right away are the fact that you'd have to pretty much re build it every time you wanted to load another one because the foil gets dirty and it makes the piece not slide as well

And his plastic got a little bit melted because he held the lighter to close to the bottle instead of in the middle of the foil

so it'll prolly work better if SWIM used a glass bottle instead of a plastic one
