I received an email from SWIM today:
"I've just brewed some tea using dried poppy heads. I placed roughly 8-10 very large ground-up poppy heads in 1ltr of water. Put the mixture in a bottle about 50 hours ago. I have now filtered the brew through some boxer shorts to remove all solid. I have been left with about 700ml of pale green liquid. Trouble is when I opened the bottle it smelt a little bit foul. There was a little foam at the top and I heard oxygen escape when i opened it. From this we can assume that the mixture has started to turn. However, the filtered liqued smells OK. Would you drink the mixture?" Please help SWIM |
