Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

SWIM has searched the internet and has not found any good information regarding hiding things such as dilated pupils if one ends up binging and has to go to work.
SWIM feels she has successfully been able to stay in control of talking too much, being coherent and not raising any suspicion, but would still love any insight and ideas of what others may be doing.
The only thing she's found is wearing colored contacts and taking opiates to come down. SWIMs problem is that if she were to take opiates she doesn't think she'd make it through the day.
She's only screwed up and lost control a few times, but imagines most have at some point and time. Calling in is not an option, as she not only can function and work just fine, but will cause other coworkers to pick up slack if she doesn't make it in.
Just looking for any tips or tricks other than the two she listed. Not looking for "have some self control" or other comments of that nature, as she obviously knows it's stupid, but stuff happens.

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

Mild benzo (Xanax) and coloured contacts usually work for my friends dog when he has to work when up. Chewing gum can hide the gurns. Some say magnesium supplements work but my friend's dog has never tried. Dilated pupils cannot be remedied by anything other than time so my friend's dog has been led to believe.

SWIM hasn't found anything either. Hopefully someone has some good ideas. SWIM wears glasses, the contact trick wouldn't work. SWIM will just have to seek out some Xanax, she's got some leads!
SWIM doesn't have the jaw grinding luckily, she actually thinks for the most part, that no one has noticed. If so, they sure aren't saying anything!
Any further info or ideas from others would be most appreciated.

If somebody would ask SWIY, just say SWIY is on medication.
I think nobody would ask what type, and if they were, just say "it's personal".

Hiding/masking meth

SWIM would think that bright lights would cause pupils to "shrink".
SWIM has been known to catch many colds as well.

SWIM is wondering if there are any special make up brands used?

SWIM generally uses Physicians Formula or Beauty for all seasons.

Bright lights will not constrict a dreamer's pupils. That's why the police shine torches in SWIY's eyes.

Bright lights make swim's pupils shrink up SOMEWHAT normally. They're generally not big unless he's speeding hard though. Swim just finds it hard to sit still sometimes if he's tweaking hard. Cigarettes are your friend. Although, it's hard to do when you work inside...

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

the most important thing swiy can do, is to not fear going to work when swiy is off gutz, and to not obsess about what other people are thinking of swiy's appearance. unless swiy is totally cooked, then it will more than often go unnoticed. the second one starts obsessing over their appearance/behaviour, the more likely they start to act like they are on drugs. its uncanny.

perhaps arrive with an empty red bull can so they can put it down to guarana abuse.

please dont take opiates to come down. swim started off as a speed addict, and ended up a heroin/methadone addict for a further 7 years afterwards. its not a nice journey by all means, so please dont play with fire!!!!

Controling the paranoia that swim thinks everyone knows. It only makes him nervous. Benzos such as xanax is good too.

Idk if this is good advice or not... but swim doesnt think that most people would notice dilated pupils, swim has dilated and bloodshot pupils every day from his adderall prescription but nobody's ever mentioned anything about his eyes.

If anyone askes, just tell them swiy is taking adderall for ADD.

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

Sry guys but bright lights will constrict pupils tho to a lesser degree when on drugs. Of coarse retanal damage can occur as the iris is not "shading" retna

xxdan123xx added 2 Minutes and 24 Seconds later...

also the two highs altho they build off each other do cancel each others negative notacible effects out. Tweaking or doped up swiy will probably be noticed

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

A quick glance directly into the lights when SWIM sees someone coming kindof normalises pupils (or at least placeboes SWIM into chillax mode)

Most people have no clue whatsoever what addled people look like, as a female, SWIM will sometimes play the 'period' card, which can account for quietness, sweats, visible anxiety signs, los of appetite, anything can be attributed to rag week. When SWIM uses the gross out option, no one wants to know after that.

SWIM finds that only people who have done it themselves can tell , and thats only with people they know fairly well. (apart from foaming gurns and the like)

Suggesters testers, and it defo takes one to know one.

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

Before SWIM started doing meth SWIM would have never been able to pick out people that were on it. SWIM still might not be able to all the time unless SWIM knew the person pretty well. SWIM imagines that most normal people would take the answer of taking Day-Quil or something as a good excuse. Just remember that most people can't tell and that it's all in SWIY's head. If SWIY looks and feels good it'll be fine. SWIM always tries to shower, shave, do hair and dress nice. Also SWIM likes to spray a little fake tan so as to not look pale.

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

The spray tan may be a good idea because there are only a few ways a person will notice something may be up. Pale face, huge pupils, facial expression and behavior. Paleness has to do with health, or a lack of, and human instinct judges others health against their own. So its noticeable. Relax facial expression and head movements. Focus your energy on work and do a good job, just don't get too carried away.

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

lSwim takes bout a .25 xanax if hes going to be hanging out with people that know him well witch or the ones who are more likely to notice drug use and if hes with them swims prolly gona be smoking chronic witch tends to add to the meth anxiety and gives swim the shakes and causes the way .swim talks to becom forgetfull and unorganized. seems like itl give me a couple hours of having some sort of speech disorder. it takes along time to explain simle things and swim will forget shit in the middle of the senctence. the xanax does little but helps. swim does smoke while speeding alone and binging to be able to quickly take a 15 to 30 minute powernap witch seems to reduce jittieryness and also reduce blood pressure inn your eye witch swim was told by his eye doctor causes eyes to dialate. it also seems to just be a little less dirty. swim also takes a good thruro shower in the mornings especially after being up all night wash face twice a day and brush teeth. keeping up with higene seems to give swim more confidence and worry less about looking like a tweaker and gives a fresh start feeling to the day. swim still isnt sure about doin ne thing else besides eating healthy and drinking plenty of healthy liquids throughout the day. swim also trys to talk slower when speed so it doesnt seem like im in the zone and am completley spun out his ass.back to higene swim stresses that he must brush his teeth and use mouth wash as well idk about facts about meth mouth but i dont got it and dont plan to that shits gross as hell and swim would pick nice teeth over speed and just go back to lsd and weed. but swim enjoys speed so as long as my teeth and skin looks good and i feel good you should worry so much about other people if you at least appear like you got your head on straight and you got some goals in life then people dont really seem to question or wonder what your doin on your own time.

Re: Ways to hide/mask meth symptoms when at work?

A couple things my friend does:
Instead of wearing her contacts, she wears her glasses, just a little bit of obstruction in between their eyes and hers.
She also uses Physician's Formula Correcting Primer. It really helps hide the "I-haven't-slept-in-48-hours-PLEASE-fuck-with-me" showing in your face.
Lastly, this one she just figured out a couple weeks ago, she'll wear fake eyelashes. The thick, long one's (Demi, is what the package says, the maker she can't remember). For some reason, whether it be that they draw attention away from your pupils to the exaggerated lashes, or that they just thicken them, making your eyes appear smaller, they just worked like a charm for her.

Maybe these will work for you, or maybe not, but it's worth a try

Why won't the contact trick work if you wear glasses? That seems to be a reason that it would work, right? Or can you just not wear contacts?

I've never run into a situation where somebody noticed I was high based on pupil dilation or "pinned eyes." Someone's behavior would have to already be strange for someone to look that closely at their pupils, and they would really have nothing to compare it to. Doctors and cops have to shine light in people's eyes to be able to tell if there is something different.

I think only someone that uses would be able to tell something like that, so I would focus mainly on behavior and other aspects of your appearance.

My lamp's gets really read when he's used - lots and lots of clear eyes seem to help for a little. Also, it's been "smiling" in the mirror when getting ready to try to relax the facial muscles a bit, and get used to smiling. Seems to work.
