Experiences - First Time, First Trip (40x Extract)

This is SWIM's first time trying Salvia divinorum. SWIM have tried LSD and P. Cubensis Mushrooms before and have enjoyed the experiences. SWIM had always been curious about Salvia, so SWIM ordered 1 gram of 40x extract online from a very reputable supplier.

SWIM took about .1 gram of the 40x extract and packed it into a bubbler. SWIM used some Marijuana (White Russian, very good stuff) as a plug. Using a butane ligher, SWIM lit the bowl and took the biggest hit SWIM could, almost clearing the bowl. SWIM then remember things in the room changing. Primary colors (Red, Green and Blue) were intensified (very similar effect to mushrooms). SWIM was standing up and SWIM starting swinging, and the room felt like it had a rhythm. Everything in the room looked like a cartoon, but instead of the thick black outlines everything was outlined in zippers. All items in the room were still there, but they took on an almost "dream-like" quality.

SWIM was talking to a good friend (sober) during all of this. He took a part in the alternate reality SWIM was a part of. He tried talking to me during all of this, and SWIM was told that SWIM participated a conversation with him, but SWIM was making no sense. In SWIM's alternate reality he was talking to me about what was going on, and SWIM was answering him. SWIM then remembers exhaling the hit. It couldn't have been longer than 30 seconds.

The next thing SWIM remembers was even more interesting. The room was long and slightly narrow, and it felt even longer than it is. SWIM remembers seeing and "feeling" hands with arms come out of both of the long walls, meeting in the middle of the room and shaking hands. SWIM was stuck in the middle of this, and SWIM was later told that ducked under SWIM’s desk, still sitting in an office chair.

The effects starting to be lessening. SWIM was still unable to converse regularly, and SWIM had lasting visual and auditory hallucinations and CEV's for a while. During the entire experience SWIM didn't look at any clocks, it felt like a few hours to SWIM, but only lasted about 5-10 minutes. SWIM was very relaxed and mellow afterwards, and wanted to do nothing but listen to music for about an hour afterwards. SWIM then started socializing with friends normally.

Overall, SWIM’s first Salvia experience was pleasant. SWIM has a feeling that if SWIM trys a higher dosage, SWIM will have full-on visual hallucinations and CEV's. At no time did SWIM feel depressed, anxious, or paranoid. Just like SWIM has read, the environment and your daily mood are both very important on a trip like this.
