where to seed papaver

SWIm bought some papaver somniferum a couple of days ago.
now SWIM wants to know what the best places are to seed..

can it sow the seeds on grass? or will the seeds suffocate?
because SWIm finds it hard to find any good place to sow..

SWIm lives in the netherlands
