It sounds like the cultural influence overrides "getting high" because it isn't commonly looked at as a drug to get high on. Similarly to certain Indian tribes who use psychedelics as sacraments, but don't consider it recreational.

Well,see if you can influence your fellow countrymen to stop shipping such huge quantities up here from Mexico. Most of cola in the USA passes through Mexico. A lot of it is sold by Mexicans here also.

Hey, SWIM got crap from his guy the last two times...sinus' swelled
shut even...anyways...his guy calls him up and tells him he's got

beacuse pure cocaine is hygroscopic, that mean that as soon as it is extracted from leaves, manufacturers have to cut it so it can be properly conserved and snorted (if water gets in, you cannot snort it). So at first, manufacturerscut it because they need to, not for profit. (dealers cutting it again and again for profit is another story)


Usually, manufacturers cut it to 80-90%.


The one you get in the street is usually60-70%, if it's good(because dealers cut it before selling it)...if you're not lucky you can get cocaine around 30-40% pure (bad dealer)...cutting ingredients may vary, lidocaineis often used I guess.


The purest cocaine onemight getwould befrom professional chemicalsuppliers (they don't sell to non-chemist people), their cocaine is not meant to be snorted so they don't need to cut it (no need to help with hygroscopic properties), and they sell it at 99.99% purity Edited by: genaro

A note for you guys... I asked SWIM, and he said he wouldn't bother unless (A) he really had 10g minimum like gandhi says, and (B) had a backup plan in case something went wrong... that's a lot of cola to lose.

Seems better/wiser to SWIM just to find a good dealer who cuts minimally, but to each their own risk. From what little SWIM knows of chemistry, he thinks gandhi's recipe is chemically sound and should work... similar ideas have been posted in this forum before, but not all in one post as a full recipe.

Relax, amigo... your recipe is good, but hardly some mystical secret. It's been known a long time that changing HCL to base, then reconverting to HCL is the best way to purify cola. It's just that few people have the resources (or the bravery, given the cost of cola) to give it a try, even with a well laid-out recipe like the one you posted.

Speaking for SWIM, he would rather find a seller who has reasonably pure stuff to start with, and just party instead of pulling out drawers full of chemicals that could burn his skin off.

In fact, for those with the balls to try it, maybe it's better just to leave it in base form and smoke the stuff (which also takes some balls (and some stupidity), but much less education in chemistry).
