Combinations - Possible catalysts for Amanita Muscaria trip

It's a well-known fact that it is sometimes hard to trigger Amanita Muscaria experience. Also, it is a well-known and established fact that cannabis helps to start up the trip and intensifies it. But let's leave cannabis aside. Let's say there is no cannabis at hand. And let's say that Salvia and poppers (cyclohexyl nitrite) are easily available.

Alf tried Salvia extract x6 three times so far and the experiences were very difficult and unpleasant for him (one of them was an outright nightmare). So, most likely Madlab will not dare to administer Salvia to Alf as a Fly Agaric trip catalyst. But surely there must be swimmers who tried it - could someone share his thoughts on this combination?

What about poppers then? Madlab has read in one of the DF threads that poppers may serve well as Psilocybe mushrooms intensifier. But will cyclohexyl nitrite help to trigger Amanita trip? And is this combo safe and useful? Madlab and Alf are particularly interested in this one.

And what about Spice Gold or Diamond? Could JWH-018 be used as a substitute for cannabis while experimenting with Fly Agaric? And what about mixing other herbal ingredients of Spice with Amanita Muscaria? Is it safe? Is it useful?

Any ideas what else could possibly serve as a catalyst for Amanita Muscaria trip?

There's not going to be a whole lot of good data on this subject, amanita use is rare and there's not a lot of reports of combinations, and as far as medical safety goes probably even less.

Never had any experience with poppers, they never seemed like much fun or very useful. As both drugs seem to cause a pretty high degree of discomfort, probably best not to chance it.

JWH-081 should be equivalent to cannabis, but remember there is NO testing of that substance, like any RC bad reactions are a real possibility. Nobody frankly feels that the drug community should be avoiding Spice, on the grounds that the company lied about it's product. One of the major arguments for legalization is that it would keep unscrupulous dealers from doing just this.

Nitrous has a reliable safety/comfort record and is easily availible. Probably a considerably safer bet then poppers.

While harmala (Syrian Rue) shouldn't effect amanitas as they work on a different path way, there are anecdotal reports that it enhances a wide range pf psychedelics. It is specifically mentioned by Dale Pendell in /gnosis as synergistic with amanita. Make sure to observe proper dietary restrictions.

Thanks for a reply. As Madlab apparently tends to ask questions that are not overly easy to answer, the more he appreciates SWIY effort.

Alf had a few encounters with poppers, and till yesterday they were very pleasurable. Unfortunately the new poppers gave Alf surprising headaches last night. He was never afflicted by them before. And that makes their further use really questionable. With Amanitas or otherwise. Grrrr.

SWIY points pertaining Spice are valid. Probably combining Spice with Muscaria is too unpredictable enterprise, not worth the risk. One should probably just come up with some pot.

Funny SWIY say nitrous is easily available. Not only Alf never tried it, what's more Madlab never had a chance to get some. True, they never really looked for it. Same thing with Syrian Rue - Madlab apparently has to do his homework on them both.

Should I devote some time and write down Alf's experiences with Amanitas? I'm a bit disheartened since my DXM trip report generated zero comments. True, it was probably a bit longish. Heh.

Swim has tried nitrous before taking Amanita. It intensified it slightly, but wasnt that much better.

Swim also tried salvia before amanita, and it was interesting, in low doses, its good. In high doses, it detracts from the amanita experience.
