Drug info - Will BDO set off an etg test?

Swim was reading over some old threads that claim that BDO is broken down by the same enzyme in the liver that breaks down alcohol. Would BDO set off an EtG test?

Swim confirms that the answer to this question is no it will not. Just in case anyone was wondering.

I posted the original post a few months ago. Swim gets Etg tested for alcohol. I was wondering if since BDO is broken down by an alcohol enzyme, it would trigger the test to be positive. Swim has since passed Etg tests the day after being on BDO with no problems. Just wanted to update in case anybody else was wondering the same thing.

Nope, the EtG test samples Ethyl glucuronide - BDO wouldn't produce that metabolite. Though it could be tested for specifically, it usually isn't. Wahey.
