SYNOPSIS
High Times is a quiet coffeeshop in the southern outskirts of Eindhoven. It is split into two sections: inside the door is the main area with the staff counter and a couple of tables, but only in the next area is tobacco smoking allowed.
The shop sells weed, hashish and paraphernalia. Only Cannabis sativa strains are available; no indica.
In this coffeeshop, there is a water-bong vaporiser; this is free to use for any patron and is particularly suited for those with an aversion to smoke.
The number 7 and 17 buses stop nearby. For any holidaygoers, the former bus goes to and from Hotel van der Valk.

REVIEW
High Times' exterior is that of a welcoming café. Upon entering, positive first impressions are held by its warm, uncrowded interior. There is only a faint smell of smoke due to the efficient air filters installed on the ceiling.
Straight to the left of the entrance is the counter, affixed to which are menus. In late February 2009, they stocked only a few strains of weed - listed in order of potency - including Orange Bud, Northern Lights, White Widow, Amnesia and Haze. There is also a selection of hash. All the essentials such as pipes and rolling papers are available, and free booklets of cardboard roaches are provided with purchases.
Prices are acceptable, ranging from ~€7 to over €10 per gram. It won't exactly break the bank but it's more expensive than some other coffeeshops.
Also available are teas, coffee, snacks, cold drinks and fresh fruit.
The staff are extremely friendly. Some may need some help choosing which strain to pick or how to operate the vaporiser; no problem, they will explain all you need to know.
Buying a cannabinoid-containing product in High Times requires proof of age, as you must be 18 or over, so remember to bring a passport or ID card of some sort.
The shop could do with some soft couches, but the premises may be too small.
Recommended, especially for Cannabis and/or coffeeshop newbies who may be apprehensive.
