Injecting - Shooting Morphine

Swim had generic canadian 5mg-10mg morphine suplate pills.

Swims freind was hella excited when she saw them so swim gave her about 80mg's ...

Swim heard you have to go threw a long process to extract the binders before you inject.

Swim watched her just crush the pill and filter it with cotton and inject it in her arm.

Nothing bad happened to her she just got a really nice rush...

so whats the deal with the binders? does cotton filter them out?

Swim is just curius cuz he has been thinking of trying some morphine mainlined and has never played with needles before and doesent want his first time turning into a disaster.

The cotton does NOT filter out the binders, period. SWIY probably noticed the solution his friend shot into her lovely arm was cloudy. This is because the water insoulable binders that the cotton filter missed are suspended in the solution but not dissolved. Injecting these is very bad for one's health. Now that isn't to say that one injection will kill a person or necessitate an amputation, however repeated injections might. And if said user hits an artery by accident (which is most likely when shooting somewhere other than the upper and lower arms, e.g. the wrist or hands) then there is a high probability that the user will lose the limb. Injecting pills into your muscle or fat also carries a high risk of infection, though it is not nearly as dire as hitting an artery with a pill-shot.

Shooting pills is not safe under any circumstances. SWIM is not preaching. SWIY can do what he digs, but he should know the facts first. Google for the grotesque pictures of the people who shot suboxone into their arteries and got gangrene or worse. If SWIY _must_ inject pills, use a very high quality syringe filter purchased explicitly for the purpose and DO NOT MISS THE VEIN. Register to be sure SWIY is in and stop injecting immediately if the blood is bright red/frothy or if the injection is even the least bit painful (this is an indication SWIY either missed or is in an artery).

If I were SWIM, I would tell his friend to look up the facts, too, as this is the empathetic thing to do.

If Swiy, or swiys friend plan on shooting pills on a frequent basis, it would be a good idea to look up some extract teks, which usaully are very easy to do and result in a shootable solution or powder.

The more you can filter it, the better, but do not lull yourself into a false belief that shooting pills will ever be safe. Coffee filters, cotton, etc are not good enough. I don't know what an extract tek is, but it is probably unsafe. The only two things which even approach suitability:

1) Very fine syringe filters designed specifically for filtering material for injection. These can even filter out some bacteria.

2) An lab style extraction and purification (acid/base or whatever is necessary)

As to the above thread, What would be a good syringe filter to get for such a purpose.

swim thinks you'd probably be better off stealing injectable morphine from somewhere. At least if things go wrong you'll probably only spend a night in jail vs a few weeks in the hospital getting your arm amputated.

This is SWIM's process for extracting morphine from pills:

Crush up pills as fine as you can in a spoon. Add 3ml of CLEAN water (best to buy distilled water ampoules from needle exchange) stir and let it sit for 5-10mins.

Add cotton filter to solution, draw up into syringe

Filter through a 0.22mm Wheel Filter (available from needle exchange) to get rid of bacteria & binders. (NOTE: push 2ml of distilled water through the wheel filter before filtering morphine solution to avoid it getting clogged up)
